American Nanjing University Education Foundation (American NJUEF), is organized for charitable, education, research and other nonprofit purposes.

 

        Nanjing University is one of the most prestigious universities in China and one of the world top 100 universities ranked by the London Times. The main campus of Nanjing University is located in the city of Nanjing, China. The University was established in 1902. Currently, the University has an enrollment of over 37,000 students from over 74 countries and regions around the world and has over 2000 professors and lecturers. Thousands of alumni of the University are currently playing active leadership, executive and professional roles in international organizations, top universities, research institutions, public and private corporations or organizations in the US and around the world. There are more than 5,000 alumni currently in the US.

  

Funding Activities

              The Foundation is currently planning following activities to further its purposes and objectives:

 

1)    Providing financial support in forms of stipend, scholarship, or fellowship to qualified individuals to study or perform research in qualified education or research institutions;

 

2)    Providing Professorship, Deanship, or Chairmanship awards to qualified individuals to carry out leadership roles in advancing education or research programs in qualified education or research institutions;

 

3)    Providing Research grants to qualified individuals for carrying out research programs in qualified education or research institutions; and

 

4)    Providing grants or other forms of financial supports to qualified organizations for furthering the purposes and objectives of the Foundation if such grants or financial support are desirable and necessary as determined by the Foundation.
